The Vicksburg Daily News reported that the commercial bus, carrying 47 passengers, overturned in Warren County, resulting in seven immediate fatalities. Another passenger died after being taken to the hospital in critical condition. A local official told CBS News that over 30 passengers were injured and transported to nearby hospitals. Among the deceased were a 16-year-old girl and her 6-year-old brother. Most passengers were reportedly South American nationals. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident, but the identities of the deceased and injured have not yet been released.
