Bangladeshi-American community in New York recently welcomed a new addition to its cultural and social landscape with the formation of the Dhaka Club of America. This new organization aims to bring together the Bangladeshi diaspora in the United States, fostering a sense of community, cultural pride, and collaboration through various events and initiatives.
The Dhaka Club of America is led by President Belal Ahmed, a prominent figure in the community known for his role as President of the Fulkoli Foundation of USA. He is also the Editor of The New York Bright, The Gemini USA, and Poriborton USA. Under his leadership, the club envisions creating a vibrant platform for the Bangladeshi community in America.
Mohammad Salim Reza has taken on the role of General Secretary. A New York-based realtor, Reza brings strong organizational skills to the club, aiming to contribute to the club’s mission of uniting Bangladeshi-Americans across different professional and social backgrounds.
The club’s executive team is diverse, comprising community leaders dedicated to furthering Dhaka Club of America’s goals. Key members of the executive panel include:

- Joint Secretaries: Shafi Ullah and Tarique Bin Mohammed Rumi
- Treasurer: AKM Zahir Uddin
