A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Jamalpur District Association of North America was held, where it was decided to grant membership to 19 new members. Additionally, it was decided to organize an Iftar gathering on Sunday, March 23, and a picnic on Sunday, August 24. The meeting took place on Sunday, February 23, at the Nirab Restaurant in the Bronx.
The meeting was chaired by the President of the Association, Saiedur Rahman Shelly, and conducted by the General Secretary, Mohammad Aktaruzzaman. During the meeting, all members present shared their suggestions and provided guidance to further strengthen the organization. New members were welcomed with flowers, and the need for collective cooperation to strengthen the association was emphasized. The meeting also celebrated the birthday of former president Abu Khandkar Murad with a cake cutting.
As per the decisions made in the meeting, the Iftar gathering will be held on Sunday, March 23, at the Sanai Restaurant in Jackson Heights, and the picnic will be held on Sunday, August 24, at Cotton Point Park in Upstate New York.
